Cardinals show off talent in 16-0 win against Southern State Community College.

Andrews University -- The Cardinals put up an excellent performance Sunday with a big 16-0 win. The players who scored were: Bogdan Pintilie (3), Dan Garcia (3), Christian Gutierrez (2), Ruben Ferreira (2), Davian Ross (2), Jose Pozo, Michael Filkoski, Kaniel Hunt, and Victor Pintilie. Impressive as the game was for the Cardinals, there were some aspects that stood out. Bogdan Pintilie scored a hat trick in the first 13 minutes of the game, Dan Garcia scored a hat trick, Jose Pozo had a midfield free kick goal, and a clean sheet by goalies Christian Gutierrez and Kevin Schmitt. While the whole game was in the Cardinals hands, frustration was seen throughout the game. The Cardinals were drawn offsides a whopping 19 times thanks to an excellent back line of Southern State. All in all, the Cardinals earned a well deserved win.
